Student Artist: Megan Zou

               
Megan Zou was born in Saskatoon, Canada in 2000 and moved to Miami, Florida when she was 5 years old. She has been painting since she was 9. Megan has a love for wildlife and nature, which serves as the inspiration for much of her work. She had her first exhibition at the Schacknow Museum of Fine Arts when she was 11 years old. Since then, she has garnered numerous other accolades, including the Florida Junior Duck Stamp Best of Show (twice during the last two years) and placing in the Top 10 in the National Junior Duck Stamp Competition (2014 and 2016).
Megan is currently a junior at Ransom Everglades High School. Her other hobbies include biking, volunteering  and playing with her pets.
As part of the guest student artist program, Urbaniza will donate a portion of the proceeds to United Way.
